Community service makes up the third core component of the SquashBusters after-school regimen. Since its inaugural season, SquashBusters students have participated in monthly team community service projects, totaling as many as 8 service projects, or 30 hours each year per student. The program focuses on broadening students’ awareness about social issues, exposing them to new populations, empowering them to make change, and building their confidence in new social environments.
